"Ultrasound appointment"

About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Xrays and Scans

(as a service user),

I attended Gartnavel General Hospital this morning for an ultrasound.

I was welcomed to the department by Healthcare support worker, Beth. She instantly put me as ease and informed me of what would happen when I entered the scanning room. She was friendly, polite and represented her department well. I then went into the scanning room and met Andrew and Sean, who introduced themselves and informed me of what would happen for the scan. Again, they put me at ease and  I felt relaxed and in good care. I was told that Sean is still training but I felt entirely confident that he knew exactly what he was doing. I received great patient care and would rate this department highly.
