My 8 week old daughter was admitted to RACH from Dr Gray's Hospital due to suspected meningitis.
This was obviously a worrying time, which was made even worse by being in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic however we have nothing but praise for all the staff there.
My daughter was treated with IV antibiotics and recovered really well thanks to the work of the fantastic medical staff. Not only were they all so good with my daughter but they also made sure I was ok too at what was a very stressful time for me. I would particularly like to thank Staff Nurse Jade who didn't hesitate to stay with me beyond the end of her night shift at a time when I was really struggling with the situation. It really helped having someone to talk to and her small act of kindness went a long way.
A huge thank you again to everyone involved in our care, we are extremely grateful and you all do a fantastic job!
