"I'm so glad I phoned"

About: NHS 24 / Breathing Space (Phoneline)

(as a service user),

I phoned Breathing Space around 8. 24pm and spoke with Charlie because I was in real distress. I can't fault the level of support he gave me - he was calm, patient, signposted me to services and even made me laugh. I felt so much better and calmer after speaking with him and he is a total asset to the team. I'm so glad I phoned.

How kind of you to get in touch to thank Charlie from Breathing Space. Thanks so much for doing so. I will absolutely make sure that Charlie gets to see your kind words. I am sure he will be delighted to know what a positive impact he had on you.

The staff at Breathing Space are a fantastic asset to NHS 24 and we are lucky to have such a skilled and dedicated team who provide an excellent listening and signposting service.

I am pleased that you called and you felt better and calmer after speaking with Charlie. A wee laugh is also good too and is something we all need from time to time.

Thanks and and best wishes to you. Please don't hesitate to call Breathing Space when needed. Just for your info, we also have a dedicated Mental Health Hub which is staffed by highly trained Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who are here to assist too. This service is available 7 days a week from 6 pm - 2 am and you can contact them by calling 111.
