"Telephone consultation"

About: Churchill Hospital / Clinical haematology

(as the patient),

Due to the current situation I had a consultation via the telephone. It was fine.

I think if it had been a Consultant I had not seen before I would have preferred a video link. No parking problems - a real plus.

Hi Chantel, and thanks for your comments on the telephone clinic. I am so sorry that it has taken me such a long time to respond.

It's interesting that you say that you would prefer a video link if you had not met the consultant before. I have spoken to several other people who feel the same, as it helps to be able to visualise the person you are speaking to. And everyone is in agreement about the parking!

You might be interested to know that we are now using a video consultation platform called 'Attend Anywhere', which means that you access your appointment via a website and you can see your consultant on screen. If you would like to use this for your next follow up appointment, please contact the secretary and she can arrange this for you.

Thanks again,

Best wishes,

Catriona
