"Online meetings are inspiring"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Gosport

During this very difficult time for many, Inclusion recovery in Gosport have been holding meetings with Microsoft teams. It has been a lifeline for many of us in early recovery. The meetings are connecting those who have internet connections but so many are without this, it would be helpful if the most vulnerable could still have one to one support with any protection needed provided for both client and key workers.

The meetings are inspiring and our key workers, Becky and Simon who are running the groups are great, uplifting, caring and totally devoted to helping those who seek it. I, am truly grateful for Inclusion recovery and cant wait for meetings with everyone to commence once again. Stay safe and one day at a time xx

Thank you for your recent post. I am delighted that you have found the online access to meetings so valuable in your recovery and that you have had a positive experience when attending them.

We fully appreciate that unfortunately not all service users have online access. As government guidelines change and restrictions are lifted gradually, we will be reviewing the interventions we are offering to consider how we may best be able to reintroduce some face to face service delivery. As I know you will appreciate we need to ensure that before doing so, we are able to put measures in place to safeguard and protect both staff and service users as safety to all will be paramount.

Service user feedback is very important to us. I would encourage you (if you have not already done so) to join our service user voice meetings which are currently being held online so that you can share any ideas you may have and provide us with any further feedback. If you wish to participate please contact your Recovery Worker who will be able to advise you when these meetings are being held.

I will pass on your feedback to Becky, Simon and the Gosport Team.
