Not being allowed to see a loved one in hospital for weeks during the Covid 19 pandemic has been so hard for us all as a family
Letting dad come to the hospice was the best decision we made . All the staff in the inpatient unit were kind and compassionate You all work so hard in these difficult times .We were allowed one designated family member to visit dad , but we were so grateful that we were allowed a final farewell visit ..Thank you Simone and Stella for allowing us to be able to do this through the gate and beautiful garden at the hospice .It was so well organised . The peace and calmness of the garden made it easier for us all .We will be forever grateful that we were allowed the time to be with dad and say goodbye .
The care,, professionalism ,compassion and support you have given has all had been outstanding .
Thank you all of you for looking after dad and his family .We are so grateful that we have a local hospice .
"Allowing us to say goodbye"
