"Maternity labour care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50)

(as the patient),

I have just had my baby in the current pandemic and was very anxious about my hospital delivery. The staff at the Queen Elizabeth maternity unit were so amazing! They were calm, supportive and you would never have known that theit was anything different going on once in the labour suit and recovery ward! So happy to have had such a great bunch of midwife's looking after me and my newborn baby.

Hello ST88,

Thank you for taking the time to share this lovely post with us and congratulations on the birth of your baby!

Being in hospital is understandably a worrying time, even for a happy occasion such as having a baby. It is really great to hear that the midwives were calm and supportive and that they had such a positive impact on your experience.

I will share this post with the staff at QEUH, I'm sure they will be thrilled to receive such lovely feedback.

Best wishes,

Rachel
