About: University Hospital Wishaw / Care of the Elderly (Wards 9-12)

(as a relative),

My elderly father in law was admitted to ECU at UHW and was treated for a Urinary Infection. Just wanted to thank the staff in ECU for looking after him so well. He was treated with kindness and dignity by every member of staff. It was especially thoughtful of Linzi and Jessica to arrange for him to have a face time call with us. He was so pleased to be able to see us while we talked.   In these challenging times with restricted visiting, we felt staff went above and beyond to make sure we could keep in touch. Happy to say he is now at home and feeling well.   Thank you all ☺️

Dear Rainbow 3,

It's so important for people to stay connected whist physical visiting is restricted and I'm delighted to hear what a difference "digital visiting" made for your family. Linzi, Jessica and the rest of team will be delighted with your recognition of their professionalism and praise for the care and compassion they showed your father-in-law.

I'm pleased to hear he's now comfortably back at home and on the mend.
