"Online One Recovery Groups during CO-Vid"

About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a service user),

I am a service user at High Wycombe and I am finding all the online Microsoft Teams groups with One Recovery are working very well and I feel very supported. The groups are very similar to being in person, it did take a little time to get used to but I am now confident and very happy with how it all works. All I can say is positive feedback and nothing negative about these groups. I attend at least one group a day including Art, Peer Support, Relapse Prevention, Service User Plus, Recovery Cafe and occasionally meditation group.

Thanks so much for sparing us the time to share you experience of using the online groups that we have introduced since the COVID outbreak. It is really great to hear that you are finding the groups supportive.

Initial we were worried too about online groups (change can be difficult for us all) but like you we have quickly grown in confidence to use the technology and its seems to be working well to keep people connected and involved in their recovery.

It is so great that you are attending a least a group per day, we tried to put all the groups we were offering online as we know they can be a lifeline for people. Keep accessing and please let us know if we need to consider anything else that would help us improve or that we need to change.

Can I take the opportunity to wish you all the very best, take good care of yourself. Thanks again for your very valuable feedback it is very much appropriated.

Kind Regards

Tracy
