About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Medicine (Wards 9-12)

(as a service user),

I would like to thank every single member of staffing ward 10, for there care and attention to my mum she was treated for Covid she is 85 the care and attention they gave my mum was fantastic, I will never be able to thank them enough they even let me do a zoom call to her she has Alzheimer’s as well even when I called yep I did 3 times a day they gave me a full detailed run down of everything that was going on thank you from the bottom of my family’s heart my mum went back to her Care home today 🌈

Dear Barra,

What a great outcome! Thank you for taking the time to recognise the professionalism and dedication of the staff, they'll be delighted to receive such warm words of thanks.

We all take communication for granted don't we; it can be really challenging for families to stay connected at the moment, but the staff are working tirelessly to make sure this happens and being able to see a loved one can make such a difference.

I'll be sure to pass on your thanks to the team.

I wish your mum well with her convalescence.
