"Everything appears to have stopped"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d)

(as the patient),

Hope every one is well, I have been waiting for a hip replacement since October 2018

The pain is unbearable I am now in a wheelchair , I don’t like taking tablets but just now I have to keep count of what I am taking , This Covid -19 is terrible and my heart goes out to every who has any contact with it ,The NHS  have been under a lot of pressure but there are hospitals empty and fully staffed why can these hospital be helping people like me with other problems. It seems so unfair that everything in Scotland under the NHS appears to have stopped. Glasgow and Clyde were struggling to cope before this outbreak so what is going to happen after this, and no one knows when this is going to end, I know I can’t go on struggling the way I am for much longer it is so cruel to keep people suffering with no end in sight, as I have said so many times before - animals would not be left to suffer indefinitely
