"Anorexia treatment"

About: Highly Specialist Services / Eating disorder service

(as the patient),

I have had treatment at St Georges Eating Disorder services for the last few years, of which I have had only negative experiences. I find the staff are unfriendly, patronising, condescending and unhelpful. I also feel they are unsympathetic towards mental health struggles I am experiencing, and do not present a welcoming service to help me recover from my illness and issues.

Dear Sarah

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. As you know your comment on Care Opinion is anonymous apart from your first name contained in your email. I wonder if you would be prepared to give more specific feedback so that your concerns can be investigated by Senior colleagues in our organisation. It is vitally important that we do take mental health concerns and struggles very seriously as we are a Mental Health Trust. We would like to follow up your concerns.

Yours sincerely
