"My thanks and admiration"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Cardiac Surgery University Hospital Ayr / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I feel guilty that I haven't posted this before now, I don't know why. Under these terrible conditions, I should show my love and support to all at the jubilee better than this.

However my first introduction to the hospital was in 2011, where under the care of the mighty Mr Pollock he replaced my aortic valve and I was up and out in 6 days, feeling like I'd been in a big trauma, and I can't put into words how much I owe Mr Pollock and all his amazing team for what they all did for me.

Fast forward to 2019, Mr Nair saved my life when the valve had to be replaced again. 45 days in ICU I think. Every single person that I had helping me, especially Doctor Gemmell in Ayr and all the team in Ayr and Clydebank, for saving my life twice!

My thanks and admiration to every single member of the NHS seems pitiful in the current situation, but it is heartfelt.

Dear Bc17,

It is always lovely to receive positive comments from patients and visitors no matter when this dates too, so thank you for taking the time to do this.

I am unaware of a Mr Pollock now working with us, however Mr Nair is still here and I will be sure to pass your lovely compliments on him and the team in ICU.

I do hope you continue to keep well and safe.

Regards

Paula
