We have used Stonehaven Medical Centre since moving to the town 20 years ago and their service has always been excellent. However, in the last three weeks they have been utterly outstanding - let alone in the face of the biggest medical challenge in living memory.
My husband and I have both had to contact the surgery on more than one occasion since the Covid lockdown using the e-consult system, and without exception received an appropriate reply within 45 minutes of doing so. At the surgery the Covid precautions were extremely thoroughly handled in a calm, friendly and professional way.
Unfortunately, my husband had to have a short spell in hospital. After getting home one of the GPs took the time call and check on his progress, chatting through events at length.
Sincere thanks to Doctors Howard & Dossett and all the staff at Stonehaven Medical Centre. Thanks too to the on call GP at Kincardine Hospital and the staff of Aberdeen Royal Indirmary’s A & E Dept and Ward 103. Our NHS is truly precious.
