"recent operation at southport hospital"

About: Southport & Formby District General Hospital

(as the patient),

I have just returned from southport hospital having had a femoral artery operation.

I was in ward 15A under Mr Frank Mason (consultant surgeon). The operation was a success and I returned home able to walk reasonably well after seven days.

The standard of care provided by Mr Mason and his team was second to none in particular the pre-op checks and precautions.

I would specially like to thank Sister Karen and all her team of nurses in Ward 15A, their patience and good nature was a tonic for all of us !!

Dear Ainsdale John,

Thank you for taking the time to post this opinion and thank you for your comments.

I will pass on your kind remarks to both Mr Mason and Sister Karen and the staff on ward 15A. They will, I'm sure, appreciate your thanks.

I hope you continue to make a speedy recovery.
