About: West Hampstead Medical Centre

Recently registered with this GP after moving home. I began to regret it after the several attempts to call, speak to the reception staff and book an appointment. It was frustrating and disappointing, especially compared with my previous GP surgery. It appears to be almost impossible to get an appointment slot and you have to call at specific limited time slots to do so, not always possible if you're in full time work. The nurse I eventually got to see was really welcoming, helpful and professional. Dreading the possibility that I may need to see a doctor again and try to book an appointment . The online patient access service did not help or make it any easier to book one. Only ever saw one slot available and when I tried to select it, it was suddenly unavailable. Absolutely crazy!
