"Poor care and cleanliness at Aintree Hospital"

About: University Hospital Aintree / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was a patient on ward 16 of the Aintree Hospital in Liverpool with a fractured ankle. I found the standard of medical care to be only average at best. The hospital really needs more staff, as I rang for a nurse and had to wait up to 15 mins before I got any assistance.

Further, the cleanliness of the hospital is poor - the wards do not get cleaned properly.
