Today alone it has taken me a total of 70 minutes (3 calls) to get the phone answered. I ensured that I rang after 11:30 to avoid peak times. This unfortunately is typical of not only my own experience, but also that of others. I simply cannot understand why it takes so long to answer the phone at these times.
there is also very limited availability of appointments, and it is almost impossible to see the doctor of your choice. The recent change of computer system is blamed for this poor service, but the problems pre-date these changes, and have been evident for the last couple of years, getting progressively worse.
It is simply unacceptable!!
