"dreadful service"

About: Bellevue Medical Centre

Today alone it has taken me a total of 70 minutes (3 calls) to get the phone answered. I ensured that I rang after 11:30 to avoid peak times. This unfortunately is typical of not only my own experience, but also that of others. I simply cannot understand why it takes so long to answer the phone at these times.

there is also very limited availability of appointments, and it is almost impossible to see the doctor of your choice. The recent change of computer system is blamed for this poor service, but the problems pre-date these changes, and have been evident for the last couple of years, getting progressively worse.

It is simply unacceptable!!

I was very sorry to learn that you have had problems getting through to the surgery and having to wait a long time to make an appointment. We are reviewing our telephone system and have recruited mores staff to answer the demand of calls received.

We try to encourage as many patients as possible to use the online service as this then frees the phone lines up for anyone who physically does not have online access or cant access it right now, our appointments online go live 8:00pm the night before which means you can book any time after that for a call back for the next day, for you to be able to book online all you need to do is come into the surgery with some identification so we can give you your access. This will enable you to book appointments online and you can also order repeat prescriptions, pre book your appointment 5 days in advance if they are available.

We open on a Saturday morning at our branch surgery Modality Attwood Green to give patient further access for appointments
