I had an appointment with a consultant who decided I needed physio. This appointment was on in August. After 3 weeks with no notification re appointment I eventually spoke to the consultant's secretary who assured me everything was in order and I would rec my appointment.
Today, 4 weeks after first appointment, I decided to ring again. After being transferred 6 times with no help, I was then told there was no trace of me in this department - even though the secretary assured me it was all OK the week before!
I then got a call from someone in Physio dept. This message told me a letter had just come through and an appointment would be 5 weeks. I've been waiting 4 weeks already. I was then given a number to get an appointment at another clinic. I rang to see if they could re refer me to another clinic. They checked, but I was still not in the system. When the letter came through, I would have to wait for a telephone call re appointment. After being transferred 6 times, I rang 3 numbers, and I am still at the bottom of the list. I find this very disturbing as no one knew what they were talking about. So 4 weeks after my first appointment I am no further with my appointment for physio.
