"Appointment - Elaine Knight."

I made an appointment 6 weeks ago for a blood test requested by the doctor following an unsatisfactory blood test - high iron. The doctor completed the appropriate form which I handed to the receptionist and made an appointment for 28.11.18 @ 8.55. When I arrived this morning the appointment was not booked and I was told that the phlebotomist would slot me in which I accepted. After waiting for over an hour and having a word with the receptionist at least 4 times by which time I was getting more angry and stressed. My point is this i waited over an hour if I had been slotted in the patients behind me would have only been less than 5 minutes late as that is all the time they spend in Room 4. When I was eventually called I was seen by a nurse and not a phlebotomist. As I had a burst duodenal ulcer in August 2018 I have had blood tests and on the same day received a call from a Doctor with the results. The nurse appeared to be unsure as to what was going on. My point is that none of the staff could see the logic of slotting me in and me not having to wait for over an hour and the other patients being only 5 minutes late. I hope to receive a response

It was also suggested that I could go to Epsom Hospital for the blood test why would I do this after waiting over an hour
