"Shocking GP & NHS Practice(s)!!"

I regret to say this practice is getting worse by the day and that is measured over the last 4-5 years being a registered patient(whole family) with this GP practice.

I understand GP practices are managed on a for-profit and privately managed basis for some years now, I somewhat even get that, although we do pay a lot of NHS (hidden) salary % into the NHS pot that also the GP practices profiteer from...

But to simply try and make an appointment to see a GP at this practice, to keep ringing at 1 minute to 8 , to be told that the practice opens for appointments at 8am, to then ring again at 8 am at the dot, to go straight away into an engaged tone mode, to then get anytime between 1 to 7 minute later the message ,when you finally get allowed into their phone queue, that all appointments are now all fully booked!This is simply on the verse of criminal and not of this stone and age 2019.A simlpy appalling service ,situation and so unreliable for the public to be put in!!!!!!When then ringing afterwards,as for example it is for my 9 year old child who needs a diagnosis and for example, if deemed, appropriate a referral to our private insurance for the family , this is not even possible, so we are simply forced to then see a doctor privately for a lot of money for each consult to then get a referral that way. Yet my wife and I pay combined £700+ EACH month of our salary into the NHS, simply SHOCKING and disheartening, hence the Review Title. What does one need to do to get some type of NHS and GP access for the large monthly levies we pay into this bottomless pit?! What do people do that are not even in a position like us that can't afford to have private insurance and also try to get an appointment to get medical help from this GP practice? How on earth can this GP practice be rated 3 stars on average whilst I know for a fact the entire Molesey community is having the same issues and complain about tis?? Get it sorted Glenlyn Medical Centre and NHS alike as this is so middle age and backwards ! I rest my case and pay again for a private GP appointment, SHOCKING....

Dear Edgar,

I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations when you wrote this comment. I can assure you that Glenlyn does try to learn from the comments and suggestions made by the community we serve.

Working as one team, we have made a great effort to improve the offering to the people who use our service, and those that care for them, and I hope that today, should you need our support and care, you would not find us wanting.
