"My personal experience was superb"

I nervously entered A&E this week and accidentally jumped the social distancing queue by one person, not understanding the process. The person assessing SHOUTED loud at me to get back and take my turn ! I was like most people attending A&E anxious and vulnerable and there was no need for them to shout ! A gentle reminder would suffice . 

Triage was quick and then I was quickly seen by the most wonderful kind lady Doctor who treated me with empathy , great knowledge and person centered care . This lady Doctor who treated me was fabulous! She deserves praise . Whilst waiting for my MRI She kept coming to update me and was so attentive to my needs . I so appreciated that . 

MRI staff were fabulous 

I was worried about contracting Coronovirus but felt so reassured by everyone including patients wearing masks , separate seating and hand sanitizers. The toilets were neglected however ! 

The only thing I was not impressed with was the lack of patient confidentiality. As I sat there I observed those poor service users including myself had to announce to the man at the door first and then reception their illness and some were personal embarrassing complaints ! I understand why they have to do this but I suggest a more private area please ? For example One person had burning genitals !! They had to say this in reception in front of us all !! Then the ambulance crews came in and announced who the patients they had , their address and DOB and what was wrong with them / total lack of patient confidentiality and this method of communication needs addressing in front of other service users for information governance. 

I felt I was on Goggle box watching and listening to who was who and who had what ! It was rather surreal ! 

However as I say my personal experience was superb and staff were professional at all times and hard working . I cannot thank you all enough and give you a 5star rating
