"Exceptional care"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Accident and emergency Lincoln County Hospital / X-ray and Scans

(as the patient),

After having chest pains for a few days my friends persuaded me to go to Accident and Emergency. When I arrived I was very nervous but saw a lovely nurse pretty much immediately before having my blood taken and an ECG.

A few moments after that I was seen by Bex who took he time to listen, understood my concerns and really showed more care, compassion and understanding than I've had in a long time. She managed to refer me for counselling - something I'd been asking my GP for for months.  She examined me thoroughly, and when my chest X ray and results came back I was allowed to go home.

The whole experience from walking in to leaving was amazing and I couldn't fault any of it. Amazing staff

Dear lovebug.100

We are really sorry that you needed to visit A/E but that you were able to return home and also be referred for counselling which you have been so much hoping for. It sounds like your cares and concerns have been addressed. We really thank you for taking time to give us your feedback. Be assured this will be passed on.

Kind Regards

Pamela
