In April we had the pleasure of having our baby at Campbeltown hospital with the support of two amazing midwifes. Coming from Islay we had weeks of worry and stress before hand with the Coronavirus making our plans of labour and where it would be possible to uncertain but luckily we got given the option to go to Campbeltown to wait to have our baby there and to be looked after by the midwifes there that are closely connected to the midwifes at home on islay gave us lots of comfort as we felt like we weren’t far from home. We got given the most wonderful birthing experience we could of hoped for a relaxed natural water birth! We got amazing support and we will be forever grateful for the treatment we received. We are over the moon with the safe arrival of our son and back safe on Islay to start life as a family of four 💕
