"Unefficient and difficult to access over the phone"

About: Clapham Park Group Practice

I have transferred to the practice a month ago. I have asked for a referral to see a sports doctor privately, the doctor said she would prepare it right away. 20 days later and now 5 calls later to the reception staff (usual waiting time to talk to someone is 15min!), I still haven't received it. Receptionists promised several times that they would send it on the same day and each time I had to call back to follow up as I hadn't received anything. Again today, I was expecting the practice's secretary to call me back and he didn't. I have called again and after a wait of over 25 min I eventually managed to get through to a human being.

I am diabetic and if they can't manage such an easy task as to provide a referral letter as they dais they would, how can you trust them to provide the right care and follow up with you when needed. Very unhelpful and inefficient practice. I m looking to find a new practice ASAP.

I would like to apologise for the difficulties you experienced when requesting a private referral letter last year. I can confirm that our processes have been reviewed since this event to try to prevent this from happening again.
