"Burnley Early Pregnancy Unit"

About: Burnley General Hospital

From the moment I arrived I wanted to leave, the nurses where rude unsympathetic and had no understanding, when a nurse was asked a question she spoke to my partner & myself in a rude disrespectful manner, in the end I asked for them to take the cannula out and left as I was severely anxious and distressed. No woman miscarrying should be treated in that manner, the nurse who spoke to us needs to be re-trained in her bedside manner.

The staff member who answered my call was equally disgusting with her attitude telling me to “wait it out” while I was bleeding heavily and left to suffer in pain. Absolutely disgusting. I’ve refused to have any further treatment/scans at Burnley due to their Incompetence even their onsite midwives are epu cannot measure a baby correctly
