"Going above and beyond"

I ended up with a horrible condition called Acute cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome (ACNES for short) and was in agony!! It took some time to get a proper diagnosis as it seems to be very rare where I live. 

I spent many trips going back and forth to the doctors and was desperate for some form of relief. My doctor was super helpful and very supportive to the point he even gave up his lunch hours to give me acupuncture!! 

When every other specialist called me crazy or even went as low as to call me an attention seeker. I ended up very depressed and was left feeling suicidal but, he NEVER doubted me once. He believed me and helped me fight to get further treatment and having that one person actually listen and care was what made the difference between having hope and giving up.

It has now been 6 years dealing with this horrendous condition and I am happy to say that with my doctors help, I am finally on the waiting list for surgery. 

I can assure you that if I didn’t have such an amazing, caring and compassionate doctor, I wouldn’t be alive today. I owe him so much and make sure everyone knows just how amazing a doctor he is.
