About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Emergency Medicine Dr Gray's Hospital / Stroke

(as the patient),

Taken to A&E, Dr Grays and admitted to ascertain diagnosis. Given antibiotics and discharged following day.  Re admitted 3 day later with same condition.  Admitted to Stroke Ward and was given excellent care by all staff.

Discharged after 7 days.

Very grateful for care and professionalism of staff.

Only 1 issue and it's not a complaint but to highlight for care of other Coeliac patients.

There is no dietary option for Coeliacs and I was unable to eat many of the meals given to me.

thank you for taking the time to post positive comments on Care Opinion. I was heartened to read that you received such excellent care in both the emergency department and the stroke ward. Positive comments are such a morale boost for staff and I will forward these onto the staff in the two areas you highlighted

It is disappointing however to learn that you felt that there is no range of foods available for coeliac patients at Dr Gray's Hospital. I will inform the hospital catering manager of your concerns

I do hope you are continuing to improve and thank you again for your kind comments
