"Patronising Staff"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

Rang up Medway’s A&E Dept and spoke to the most patronising receptionist all I wanted to know was some advice as had a operation to remove a lymph node and the wound came undone and wanted to know the waiting time as I didn’t want to wait in the waiting room to long as I have a underlying health problem which I told the receptionist, only to be told I can’t give you the wait time and if it was a life or death situation you come down but said it in such away was disgusting after I told her I have lymphoma. For her then to hang up on me, I wasn’t happy with that so rang switchboard to ask to be put through to the clinical nursing team to speak to the nurse in charge well she was patronising also seems a trend in Medway will avoid this trust at full length.
