I just wanted to say a thank you to this service for the commitment and compassion they show on a daily basis to the people who they help.
I had previously attended day service and outpatient therapy with this service and made some good progress. I had begun to find eating more difficult recently due to a couple of different issues and I have begun using the information and sense of warmth and support I was given in day service and therapy to get back on track and continue working towards full recovery. I am reminding myself of all of the things I was told and it is really helping. I feel I have a number of resources I can turn to to help myself and I wouldn't have been able to do this before I used this service. I am grateful to have been through this service and to have had the experience of care I have had). This feels especially important when things are as challenging as they are in the world at the moment and I have less opportunity to use my usual coping strategies (I know it is challenging for many people not just people who have/had eating disorders).
The people and families who use this service are very fortunate to receive good, thoughtful care and I am sure that at the moment because of the demands on services overall they are probably having to work harder and in quite different ways. So I wanted to say thank you for all you do with that in mind.
"Thank you for all you do"
