"Fantastic care for complex needs"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

Father in law has COPD, advanced Dementia, paper skin and heart problems. We are always concerned when he goes into hospital as he can get very confused and distressed. But the care was amazing, really top notch. He went back to the nursing home without bed sores, his breathing back to his normal and importantly he was not distressed by being out of his home. With all that's going on, Tilney Ward and Terrington Ward left us without any feelings of concern and we were very impressed by the consultants care and the attention of the nursing staff. Truly we are very thankful.

Firstly, I must apologise for the delay in responding to your comments about the care your father received whilst in our hospital. I am always very pleased to hear about the care received by our most vulnerable patients. For your father, his time in hospital could have been very distressing being in different surroundings to those he is used to - it is great to hear that his 'care was amazing' and that you were so impressed by the consultants and nursing staff. I will be sharing your comments with the teams who cared for your father so that they know how much you appreciated their attention and care, in these very difficult times I know they will be very grateful to hear your kind words.

Kind regards
