A relative has been on Ward B12 at the Forth Valley hospital for nearly 6 months, originally admitted with an infection he has been waiting all this time for a suitable social care package to be found, this proved very difficult as he has a long term condition and has complex needs. Eventually the decision was made to transfer him to a residential home. During his stay the staff have been amazing going above and beyond their duty in an effort to keep him safe and as comfortable as possible. He has no relatives or family able to visit and the staff at times even did his washing. A big thank you to all the staff who have looked after him over the last few months. He has now settled in his new home and was seen enjoying a James Bond film with other residents!
"The staff have been amazing"
