"Too Many Changes"

About: Orient Practice

It appears to me reading other reviews there is only two views -- awful or excellent!!

I have never in 8 years of fairly regular visits to the Orient Practice seen or experienced any receptionist being rude. - I have seen a few patients being aggressive and rude.

I personally am generally quite satisfied with the treatment received

However, I do not know who my doctor is and rarely see the same person twice.

I have had a few referrals and only a few times had a follow up meeting with the Orient Doctors

Was told last in August 2017 that I would be supplied with hearing aid - not happened

Was told I need a MRI scan on my leg - not happened - now waiting for another referral

Why can't patients have a dedicated doctor who knows one's medical history without referring to notes that are often incomplete??

Dear Patient

Apologies for the delayed response.

Thank you for your mainly positive comments.

I apologies for the lack of commination between the Orient team and yourself. We understand what you have gone through and hope your medical concerns have been addressed.

With regards seeing a regular GP we are happy to accommodate, and request patients to specify when booking an appointment to which clinician they would like to book the appointment with.

However if it’s an emergency appointment then unfortunately we can only book with GP who is on-call.

We are sorry if we have caused you additional stress.

If you feel we have not resolved your medical concerns then please get in contact us

Regards

Fahmeda Kazi

Regional Practice Manager
