After weeks of anxiety after an abnormal smear and HPV I attended today for my appointment. Due to the Corona pandemic the hospital was empty and hubby was not allowed to stay with me 😞 the 2 nurses and the consultant were so lovely, despite me being so scared and couldn't stop my legs shaking. Had a couple of biopsies taken which was sore but they kept me focused 😊 The head consultant Gynecologist told me there and then it was not cancer. Although I need to wait for the results to find out what the changes are and any treatment needed. Everyone was so lovely and out me at total ease ❤ Thank you for being so lovely xx

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback for us following your recent visit to the gynaecology outpatients department at Pilgrim hospital. We realise it can be such a worrying time for ladies receiving an abnormal smear result and having to attend our colposcopy clinic. I am so pleased we were able to give you the utmost support and was able to put you at ease during this 'scary experience'. When patients take the time to leave us feedback it has such a positive effect on team morale and gives us a sense of pride that we were able to provide such a good service in what can be such a worrying time. I will make sure I share your lovely words with the team. Wishing you well.
