"My experience was fantastic"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans)

(as a service user),

I was due to have an ultrasound scan on Monday. I was phoned on the Thursday to be told my appointment was cancelled because of the corona virus situation and I would be contacted in a few months. I was anxious about the scan and what it may find and was very upset (thinking of even trying to go privately). I got a phone call a couple of hours later from Susan to say they could fit me in on Friday. I was very grateful for her kindness.

Today my experience was fantastic. Lovely friendly approachable staff at all points. I was scanned by Lynne and she was wonderful. She treated me with empathy, humour and respect whilst explaining all her findings. A real credit to your department, thank you so much.
