I am pregnant and have been really anxious and concerned regarding the Corona virus. I work full time in an NHS setting. I found myself under a lot of stress through lack of information and support. I felt as though I was being passed from pillar to post and couldn't get the correct advice or support. I called my doctor's surgery (Centenary Surgery) and spoke to the receptionist I think her name is Linda or something similar I was extremely distressed.
I couldn't stop crying, this lady soothed me and made me feel at ease. She was very calm, caring and compassionate. In a time where I felt that no one cared. Even when I contacted the surgery the next day she remembered me, my situation and gave me up to date advice that I hadn't asked for. I know the world is in the middle of a global pandemic. We need more people like her looking out for us. She is an absolute diamond who may feel often under valued, but I will always remember the kindness she demonstrated at such a hard and uncertain time. I honestly can't thank her enough.
