"Physiotherapist/rehabilitation visitor."

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a relative),

I would like to provide complimentary feedback in respect of Claire who has assisted my Aunt on 2 home visits. My Aunt has severe mobility issues and Claire initially assessed her needs from walking aids to toilet assistance. She was extremely patient and explained her suggestions to my Aunt in layman's language and how her suggestions would ease her around her home. She returned with all the equipment and installed, explained and tested with my Aunt to her total satisfaction, despite my Aunt being a bit apprehensive during the first visit. Not only has my Aunt been assisted but also myself who is her carer and my mind put to rest knowing she has further aids to help her safety. I would hope Claire would be commended for her hard work and dedication.

Dear Katy R,

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know how much you and your aunt appreciated the input given by Claire. I will make sure she reads this message and I know she'll be delighted with your comments. I wish you aunt continued health and confidence in her increased level of independence, using the equipment provided.

Although I am the paediatric Lead, I work closely with the community teams.

Kind regards,

Maureen
