"Paved the way for my future"

My care at Riverdale Grange (Adolescents Unit) saved my life from anorexia. I had been in previous hospitals and received different kinds of care but once I was admitted to Riverdale, I instantly felt the warmth and positivity in the hospital. I knew that this hospital was going to save me; so did my family. As hard as I refused the help, they kept on pushing me day by day and gave me the care I so desperately needed. I will forever be grateful for my time as a patient here. Not only did they feel like my second family, they paved the way for my future and inspired me to pursue a career in mental health nursing to be like the amazing staff here. Recovery is 110% worth it and I wouldn’t have seen that without Riverdale’s outstanding care!!

Not only do they change the lives of patients in their care, Riverdale goes above and beyond to raise awareness in the community. The social enterprise day each year, shows how much they desire to make a difference to people’s lives and I will continue to attend every one!!
