"My treatment was wonderful"

From the moment I entered the reception for my operation, I was welcomed and directed to the comfortable waiting area until it was my time to go up for my operation.  The nurse, surgeon and anaesthetist, of Mr Jethwa’s team through my history very thoroughly during the wait for my allotted time.

Everyone was so friendly, professional and caring it made me feel very relaxed.

When I was taken through to have my anaesthetic administered, I was treated so kindly and thoughtfully, that any nerves disappeared.  The surgeon even popped his head in to tell me how he was going to do the operation with a camera, in case the X he had drawn on me might not be in quite the right place!

Overall I thought my treatment was wonderful, and far better than a private hospital that I had been to in the past.  The surgical team at East Surrey are truly amazing, and I can’t thank them enough.
