"Discovery of lymph"

About: Churchill Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

My discovery began when I had a scan relating to a lung problem.   The scan showed as well as the chest and lungs that I had lymph problem.  This was initially diagnosed as lymphoma.  After consultations I had a lymph gland removed from under my arm. I also had vitreous jelly extracted from my eye, which seemed to show the presence of a glandular fever  virus.  It was concluded I didn’t have cancer for which I was very grateful. I hope I took this as calmly as possible because I felt I was being looked after in the best possible way.

Hi Jonquil,

It's a relief to hear that you're all clear, and I'm glad you felt well looked-after!

Thanks for letting us know,
