"Colonoscopy service received"

I had a colonoscopy at St John's Hospital, Livingston today. The staff all made me feel so welcome. I'm always worried because I say ridiculous nonsense with Entonox, but the professional friendly staff were brilliant at soothing my fears and relaxing me.

From the greeting I received on arriving to the admission procedure, the procedure itself, and the after care, everyone was 100% on top of their game.

I received easy to understand explanations throughout including during the procedure and of the resulting report. Thanks to all the staff involved today, every one of them, all stars of our Scottish NHS.
