"Dear Friend’s care"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency University Hospital Ayr / Combined Assessment Unit (CAU)

(as a friend),

A dear friend and long time work colleague was recently admitted to Ayr Hospital A&E department and from the minute she arrived until sadly she died  her care could not have been better.

The A&E Consultant went above and beyond as did all the nurses. She was transferred to CAU Orange zone and there her care continued. Doctors nurses etc could not have been bettered. All her friends and family are all of the same opinion. Please pass on our thanks to them all. We are always quick to criticise but usually slow to praise, but we are praising now. Thank you.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Harryp,

My condolences to you and the family of your dear friend. It must have been a difficult time but I am glad her care was worthy of your gratitude.

I will pass this to the teams involved. Thank you so much for taking time to share your praise at this sad time.

Best wishes,

Eunice
