About: Valley Road Surgery

I used to be prescribed highly dosed vitamin B complex for reasons of thyroid disfunction and anemia.

I got a blood test done at this surgery and the Dr in question said my vitamin B levels were borderline and that they would take me off the B Vitamins I had previously been prescribed. I tried to explain that I was taken the vitamins as prescribed when the blood sample was taken and taking me off them would reduce my levels again below the borderline.

My reasoning was ignored and the supply cut off. Sure enough over the course of 2/3 weeks I got more lethargic again. I have since been buying my own B vitamins to increase my quality of life again.

Second incident:

Got a text saying I'm eligible for a flu shot and should call to make an appointment. I did this today (Nov 28th) and spoke to a secretary who advised that they have no late appointments or weekends and that I should go to a chemist and then let them know when it's done. First off all that's not convenient since I live basically next door to the surgery. Secondly don't text me to then just fob me off. A waste of both our times.

The only good service and knowledge I received here is from the asthma nurse.

Little did they realise I studied medicine so trying to bamboozle me and then fob me off isn't going to fly.
