"We could not have wished for better treatment from..."

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

What I liked

My son was admitted as an emergency on a weekend & we honestly could not have wished for better treatment. The doctor and all the staff on Ward 130 East were all very professional, but at the same time very reassuring and helpful. Everything was explained in detail, and they went to great lengths to ensure we knew everything we needed to & were happy at every stage of the procedure.

Following the emergency surgery the after care was also excellent & again every effort was made to make sure that myself & my son had everything we needed to be comfortable for our night's stay by both the nurses & the doctors. Upon discharge all the information we needed was given both verbally & written (very important) to ensure my son's recovery & the follow up visit by the community nurse was arranged efficiently.

Every single person we came in contact with contributed to making what was a very nerve wracking experience a very much nicer experience than it could have been.
