"Expected to sit beside pregnant women"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I suffered a miscarriage and to this day i still haven't gotten over that, my heart is breaking so much

In the hospital you are put in a box room and expected to sit beside pregnant women while you have lost your baby this was a traumatic experience, my fiancee passed out in the room. This was 3rd time we were at this place  and every time was the same

No one has contacted us to see how we are, not even my GP. Such bad aftercare from the healthservice - we feel so alone in this

Good morning my name is Mairead and I am one of the facilitators for the implementation of Care Opinion within the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent experiences, I am sure this would have been very difficult for you to do. I realise that it took lot of courage to write about this experience.

Because we are still in the implementation phase of Care Opinion here in the Southern Trust, as the Facilitator I will ensure that your feedback is provided to the right staff and endeavour to have a response from the service for you as quickly as possible.

Kind regards

Mairéad Casey
