"Receptionist hygiene procedures"

GP Receptionist was blowing their nose using a tissue catch it 👍But then tucked the used tissue up their long sleeve bin it 👎 bare below the elbow👎They were also wearing a lot of jewellery 👎and didn’t have their hair tied back 👎causing them to keep touching their face and hair during our conversation.👎

Then when I reminded them of the need to wash their hands after using a tissue as they were about to recommence their duties they said they did earlier. I replied they hadn't since then. kill it👎. They did then grudgingly use the alcohol gel which was right there on the desk. The staff member then said are you experiencing any cough symptoms etc or have any respiratory issues . I have asthma but was only there to collect a prescription for a family member. They seemed annoyed at being reminded of their public health duty to follow basic hygiene procedures.

Considering the staff member was the first public face of the surgery and the current public health crisis Covid-19 I find this concerning enough to raise my concerns.
