(as a service user),

The GP removed my current coil and inserted a new one. The GP took me through the information about what would happen and the information about the coil. She then did the procedure with great care and making sure I was ok at every step, and telling me what was happening. I felt very safe and looked after throughout.

Thank you so much for letting us know this. Coils are a great method of contraception but it can be stressful and sometimes uncomfortable having them put in so putting people at ease is really important. We are so pleased that the doctor who did the coil insertion was able to do this for you and much appreciate you taking the time to let us know. We will alert her to this lovely feedback.
