"cleanliness of F ward trauma"

About: Horton General Hospital

I was concerned by the lack of hygiene in this ward . I was there for 3 days. The floor was never cleaned. The same stains were by my bed the whole time. Their was a constant flow of visitors from 10 am to 10 pm which was too much. The rule of 2 visitors at a time was not respected and some of the male visitors used the female patient toilets ! There was a soiled towel on the bathroom floor for a whole day. There were fluff under the beds !Some visitors brought strong smelling food which is not nice when you are feeling sick and proceeded in washing their dirty dish in the ward sink. I think visitors should be better controlled! I thought the cleanliness of the

ward not up to standard.
