"Loss of my brother"

About: St Lukes Hospice

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

I returned home last Friday and have been trying to find myself and accept the death of Sam. I know it is a process and a painful one: having spent so much time with him, the memories are haunting. I am very thankful to St. Luke's for all that was done on his behalf, and the family too.

I want to pass my regards on to Noreen, Donna, Mary, Roslyn and indeed the entire staff.

You made every difference  to a very difficult and pain-filled reality.

Dear Marpm83

Thank you for taking the time to feedback your experience here at St Luke's.

We really are happy that we could support you during this very difficult time. We acknowledge that the first few days/ weeks can be distressing and lonely, but please be reassured that we will be in contact to offer further support during your bereavement.

I have passed on your kind words to the team and they all have fond memories of caring for Sam during his time with us.

Maybe when the time is right for you we may see you again at one of our events around celebrations of life.

Best Wishes
