In my opinion, most of the reception staff I have interacted with require urgent customer service training as they have handled my calls with an uncaring and unhelpful "can't do" attitude. They have handled my calls as though the caller is the greatest inconvenience in the world.
The reception staff have bordered on rude repeatedly, to the point where I dread picking up phone and trying to make an appointment. I know from speaking to other friends who are patients (in the surrounding villages) they have had similar experiences.
If I need an appointment with a named doctor I have to wait 3-4 weeks. The practice shuts everyday between 12-2pm and shuts at 6pm. It is not open on Thursday afternoons. It is not open at weekends - patients have to travel 1 hour round trip by car to out of hours GP service in Aylesbury. I would not recommend this practice to friends and family.
